Holy Avocado announces its fifth “street” location opening of the year in Fort Lauderdale in mid-September, adding to its existing presence of eight spots around the state, including four Veterans Hospitals, and four street restaurants.
Founded by Karla Ibarra, Holy Avocado has become popular among the health-conscious for its fast service and affordable prices, and offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and catering. With a focus on avocados sourced from Mexico, the menu features tasty and healthy items like avocado toast, regular and vegan burgers, salad bowls, fruit smoothies and more. All menu items are made with high-quality ingredients such as organic lettuce and tomatoes, hormone-free chicken, Angus grass-fed beef, wild-caught salmon, organic beans and sauces, low-processed breads and many gluten-free options. Known as the “House of Avocado Toast,” there is a variety of toast options available for everyone to love!
Ibarra founded the company after caring for her mother who had been diagnosed with cancer and realized that finding fast, healthy options on-the-go was nearly impossible. With plenty of research trying to find a natural cure for the disease, Ibarra found that avocados, the superfood fruit with plenty of health benefits, would be something that she’d prioritize for many meals.
