Holiday Season at Flamingo Resort & Spa: Festive Events, Celebrations

Santa Suites

Starting November 10, the resort’s Santa Suites will offer the most festive accommodations in Sonoma County. Each suite is adorned with twinkling lights, tropical winter décor, and a cozy fireplace, making it the perfect setting for a magical holiday getaway. Guests can fully immerse themselves in the season with festive surroundings that transport them to a whimsical holiday retreat.

Sippin’ Santa at Lazeaway Club

Launching on November 24, Sippin’ Santa brings a retro-kitsch holiday cocktail experience to the Lazeaway Club. This playful Christmas pop-up will feature tiki-inspired drinks like the Choquito (a blend of rums, coconut, lime, and cacao), Frosty the Merman (rye, vanilla-clove syrup, and pear liqueur), and the Sugar Plum Mai Tai (rum, lime, cinnamon, and plum). Returning favorites include the Jingle Bird and Merry Spritzmas, which will be served alongside festive bites in a vibrant, tropical holiday setting.

Jingle & Mingle Holiday Party

To officially kick off the holiday season, the Jingle & Mingle Holiday Party will take place on November 24. This family-friendly event will feature a tree-lighting ceremony, live holiday carolers, and festive activities like cookie decorating and an ornament-making station. Guests can also enjoy holiday-themed cocktails and bites, and kids can meet Santa at the resort.

Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve Dining

The Lazeaway Club will be hosting special holiday menus for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Thanksgiving dinner, served between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., will feature a bountiful buffet with traditional favorites like Slow Cooked Prime Rib, Roasted Salmon, Butternut Squash Bisque, and Wild Mushroom Ravioli. On Christmas Eve, Chef Chris Ricketts will offer a five-course tasting menu starting at 5 p.m., celebrating the flavors of the holiday season. Reservations for both holiday meals are open now.

New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Ring in the New Year with two epic parties on December 31st. The Flamingo Ballroom will host a glamorous Studio 54-themed bash featuring a Bee Gees cover band, dazzling décor, and plenty of dancing. For a more intimate experience, guests can head to Vintage Space for electrifying beats from a surprise performer. VIP tickets will allow access to both parties for an unforgettable night of celebrations.

Additional Festive Activities

Throughout the holiday season, the resort will offer live music on the Lanai every Thursday evening, and complimentary hot cider and hot chocolate will be available in the lobby. Family-friendly activities include cookie decorating, gift-wrapping stations, and visits with Santa every Sunday in December. For those looking to relax and enjoy the season, the Spa at Flamingo will also offer holiday-themed treatments.
