Residence Inn Portland Downtown/RiverPlace [Review]

We stayed at the Residence Inn Portland Downtown/RiverPlace for just one night, and my brief experience was OK. It was one of the cheaper priced Marriott properties in Portland at the time of our visit perhaps because it was under renovation.

The hotel is located near Portland’s scenic waterfront which makes for nice area to stroll around if you have the time.

Although the hotel was under renovation at the time of our stay, we didn’t experience too many disruptions. The only thing was the hotel is quite large and our room was quite a bit away from the elevator which made for a longer walk.

We had a studio with 1 king bed and a sofa bed along with a fully equipped kitchen. It was clean and sufficient for a one night stay.

The breakfast was good for Residence Inn and had lots of hot and cold options.

We parked in their complimentary parkade. However, we did see a homeless person sleeping in there which might make some guests feel unsafe.
